Elon Collins ’19 was one of three New York State winners in a writing contest, “Letters About Literature,” sponsored by the Empire State Center for the Book and The Library of Congress. At the New York State Writers Hall of Fame Induction Dinner in May, she read her essay, “Letter to Morgan Jerkins.” Hall of Fame inductees were Jennifer Egan, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Larry Kramer, and James Patterson were on hand.
