Part-time assistant librarian Leah Sills is an experienced teacher who has taught Nursery School at the YM-YWHA in Riverdale, first grade at P.S. 78, high school English at the Fajardo Academy in Puerto Rico, and English to grades five and six at the Harry Halpern Day School in Brooklyn. Ms. Sills received her BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her MS in early Childhood/Elementary School Education for the College of New Rochelle. Ms. Sills also has an interest in opera and has organized guest artists to sing at New Rochelle and Mount Vernon schools.
