Varsity Wrestlers Place in NY State Private School Championships

Congratulations to varsity wrestlers Harry Frank and Lee Eames, who both placed in the New York State Private School Wrestling Championships.

Junior Harry Frank was the champion in the 140 pounds division. He is now Riverdale's first New York State Private School Wrestling Champion since 2002. This season, Harry also won his second Ivy League title and finished the season 31-3.

Senior Co-Captain Lee Eames came in third in the 119 pounds division. He also earned All-City Honors by becoming the first RCS grappler to reach the semi-finals of the city-wide Mayors Cup and eventually coming in 5th place.
