Riverdale has a highly active Parents Association, dedicated to enriching our school through the involvement of Riverdale parents in a variety of activities and events. In celebrating and supporting Riverdale, the Parents Association embraces the following core values:

The Parents Association publishes the RCS News, our quarterly newsletter, and maintains the Parents section of the web site. Additionally, PA Grade Representatives provide a vital communication link between the school and the home.
In addition to Upper, Middle, and Lower School PA meetings, to which everyone in the community is invited, Riverdale's PA works hand-in-hand with the administration to present workshops, discussion groups, speakers, celebrations, and annual events such as:
- Celebration of the Arts
- The Lower School Carnival
- Book Fairs
- Diversity Forum Workshops, Learning Styles Meetings, and International Parents Groups
- Upper, Middle, and Lower School Parents of Color committees
- Parents School, bringing RCS faculty and parents closer together in a learning environment
- Athletic Awards Nights
- Faculty/Staff Appreciation Days
- Welcoming Events for New Families
- Community Service
- Parents in Action Meetings
- and many others.
