The Annual Fund provides flexible and immediate funding that allows the school to prioritize programming, services, and facilities that keep Riverdale at the forefront of independent-school education. Among other things, Annual Fund gifts support curriculum development and resources, faculty workshops and education opportunities, and significant financial aid offerings.
The R+ Campaign is an historic $100 million fundraising effort that launched publicly in July 2014 and concludes in June 2020. This campaign is comprehensive in that it counts all gifts to the school throughout that period, regardless of designation. Its four key priorities are unrestricted Annual Fund, campus and facilities improvements, programmatic innovation and faculty development, and a more robust endowed financial aid budget.
When to Give
Riverdale’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. Donations received prior to June 30 with be published in the school’s annual Report of Gifts during the following fall.
