Alumni Career Panel Discussion: The Art of the Deal

Hosted by Max Davidson ’92, director of the Maxwell Davidson Gallery in Chelsea, this year’s alumni panel discussion was entitled, “The Art of the Deal: A Discussion with Riverdale Alumni from All Mediums.” Max moderated the discussion and Charles Davidson ’00, the gallery’s associate director, also took part. Other panelists included George Wachter ’69, chairman of Sotheby’s North and South America and co-chairman of Old Masters Paintings Worldwide; Jessica Chestman ’96, art advisor and owner of Chestman Art; Jan Greenfield ’98, artist and author; Nick Nicholson ’87, owner of Nicholson Art Advisory and novelist; and Adam Ames ’87, artist and professor. Following the discussion, cocktails were served on the gallery’s terrace.

Riverdale's Alumni Association Executive Committee sponsors the alumni panel discussions. Committee members, Stefanie Donath ’91, Jessica Baum ’98, and Abby Sroka ’99 co-chaired the event and were instrumental in organizing the evening and selecting panelists.
