Student Faculty Council
The Student Faculty Council (SFC) is charged with working to improve the community by looking at problems from multiple perspectives. The group is comprised of 12 to 14 members of the student body from grades 9-12 who are elected to the SFC by their classes. The two co-presidents are elected by the entire school. SFC representatives are responsible and thoughtful decision makers who strive to set an excellent example for their peers.
Recent goals of the SFC have been:
- Fostering positive relationships between Middle and Upper School students by creating fun, on-campus bonding events, such as a campus-wide egg hunt.
- Enhancing spirit and community in the Upper School by running events such as the Falcon Games, cookie delivery during finals, and a pizza party after the play-off soccer games.
- Embracing friendly competition with the faculty through the student-faculty basketball game (which the faculty often wins!).
