Financial aid is among our highest fundraising priorities and one of the three pillars of the R+ Campaign, with a goal of adding $15 million in endowed funds for financial aid, to be augmented by Annual Fund Scholarships. Looking ahead, we plan to award increased financial aid across a broader socioeconomic spectrum so that our student body more closely reflects the diversity of New York City.
As a school, we aim to attract and admit a highly qualified student body with diverse talents, interests, and backgrounds. We are devoted to supporting exceptional students, regardless of their ability to afford a Riverdale education, and we demonstrate this commitment through a robust financial aid budget.
Financial aid opens the door for many students to undreamed-of possibilities. Through financial aid, Riverdale can offer admitted students who might not otherwise have access to an independent school education the opportunity to enroll regardless of their financial circumstances. We offer scholarships to students from Pre-K through Grade 12 based on need.
