Sign-up in advance to participate in the following activities:
  • Hair Donation: 8” haircut on premises
  • Blood Drive (must be 17 years or older)
  • Bake items to be sold at the bake sale 
  • Volunteer to help out at one of our craft or drive tables (shifts are 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)
  • At 1:30 p.m., your child will have the opportunity to play dodgeball and/or basketball with amazing amputee and wheelchair child, teen, and adult athletes from the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF).
What to bring:
Donate to our partner organizations. ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN AND EITHER IN MINT CONDITION OR GENTLY USED, IF APPLICABLE.  Items are distributed to different organizations so separate them based on the below list to simplify the donation process 
  • Women’s, men's, and children's clothing
  • Winter outerwear and accessories (hats, gloves, etc.)
  • Dog and cat supplies (food, towels, etc.)
  • Non-perishable and canned food
  • Books for children and adults  
  • Spanish-language books
  • New, unopened toys
  • Small, old electronics (cameras, phones, computers, DVD players, printers, iPads, etc.)
  • Toiletries
  • Wrapped menstrual hygiene products
  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Chocolate
  • Draw-string backpacks/school supplies
  • Spare change
  • Batteries/flashlights
  • Bug spray
Fun, recreational, hands-on activities for all ages: 
  • Write cards for veterans at James J. Peters VA Medical Center (Bronx, NY)
  • Decorate gift boxes for plush toys for children of Rosie's Theater Kids
  • Create bookmarks to accompany donated books
  • Decorate and package gifts through the RCS gift drive
  • Paint pots and plant houseplants for the Hebrew Home for the Aged
