This winter, our Alumni Team headed to California for two lively gatherings with members of the Riverdale community in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Both events brought together alumni from across decades who were eager to swap stories, make new connections, and hear what’s happening on campus today.
In Los Angeles, Wendy Straker Hauser ’93 welcomed the group into her home for a warm and relaxed evening. Alumni spanning from the Class of 1961 through 2018 reconnected over shared memories, professional updates, and plenty of laughter.
A few days later in San Francisco, more than 20 alumni gathered at The Cavalier for conversation, campus news, and a chance to meet Head of School Kari Ostrem. The group traded memories about Frank Hackett, ILS, athletic teams, and theater productions—proof that Riverdale stories never run out of material.
Thank you to everyone who joined us out West! We loved seeing how strong and spirited the Riverdale community is—no matter how far from campus you are.
