Riverdale’s Annual Fund remains a cornerstone of the School’s operating budget, supplying close to ten percent of funding for the current school year. Gifts of every size touch the life of every student, making possible the kind of exceptional education Riverdale is known for.
This year’s milestone carried extra significance, with record-breaking participation from both current parents and alumni propelling the Annual Fund to $9.1 million. Guests heard from Board Chair Chris James ’93; P’35,’37,’40 who reflected on what this milestone means for the School’s future and thanked the community for an unprecedented show of collective support. Head of School Kari Ostrem also spoke, highlighting how the Annual Fund’s continued growth allows Riverdale to invest in outstanding faculty, innovative programming, and individualized attention for every student.
