Meet the Tour Guides
At Riverdale, we have just over 125 students who participate in our Student Tour Guide program. Our students love welcoming prospective students and parents to the campus and sharing their Riverdale experiences with our visitors. We hope your interactions with the Tour Guides will provide you with a sense of our community and culture.
Below, you will find short profiles on each of our Student Ambassadors.
A runner, a basketball player, and an editor of the school newspaper, Leanna appreciates the the Riverdale community. "I feel like I've learned something from just about everyone I've met at Riverdale," she says.
Max runs, sings with the a cappella singing group, writes for the student newspaper, and studies Chinese. "I came to Riverdale because of how happy the students seemed and how invested everyone seemed in all of what they were doing for the school."
Emily says that Riverdale has encouraged her to take risks while giving her support.
"I'm a linguist, a scientist, a student, and an athlete," Rehan says. "My favorite thing about Riverdale is the fact that I can pursue my interests as a student as well as an athlete."
Grace plays field hockey; performs in the musical; sings with the Rivertones, the a cappella singing group; and participates in sustainability. One of her favorite experiences at Riverdale is the trip she took to Bordeaux in seventh grade.
Eddie is a soccer player, fencer, and golfer. This year he started a club called the Horological Society, which is dedicated to the study of timekeeping. He is grateful to Riverdale for giving him the opportunity to share this interest with others.
Zoey is on the tennis, fencing, and softball teams. She values the friendliness of the Riverdale community. "Everyone accepted me right away, right from the start," she said. "It was a very easy transition. I have never regretted coming to Riverdale."
