Character

In the Upper School, character education connects academic study with community awareness. The Student Life program in Upper School builds on the Middle School curriculum and emphasizes consent education and substance abuse prevention. Students deepen their exploration of essential concepts related to identity and belonging and practice skills related to social-emotional learning. Programming includes the ninth grade Delta program and the health curricula for ninth through 12th grades and is integrated into academic coursework and community events. Student leaders in a range of activities, including athletic team captains, PAL leaders, and affinity group leaders, engage in leadership training that involves Student Life programming.
